Our Mission:

To cultivate, process, distribute premium quality, sungrown cannabis with a commitment to environmentally sustainable practices. To provide employment opportunities to minorities and members of our community who have been victims of the war on drugs, donating a portion of our profits to law reform and civil rights organizations as an industry leader in an effort to demonstrate that legalization and regulation of marijuana is more socially and economically sound than prohibition.

Our Farming Philosophy:

We believe that we owe it to our children to be good stewards of the land.  We consider ourselves part of the agrarian renaissance, a growing movement toward chemical free, pesticide free, herbicide free, sustainable land management.

This is why our cannabis is always:

  • Naturally Cultivated: We utilize natural and organic sources for fertilization and enrichment of our farm's soil including compost, compost teas, and cover crops. We never use herbicides to treat the soil prior to planting instead we rely on ground cover and hand weeding.  We also avoid the use of pesticides through the utilization of integrated pest management techniques such as lady bugs, praying mantis, and planting of companion crops that repel pests.

  • Sustainably Sungrown: Cannabis, like most plants and people, thrives outdoors.  Sungrown cannabis requires less electricity, fewer light bulbs, less water, produces fewer green house gases and creates less waste.

  • Hand Trimmed: We carefully hand trim and manicure all of our cannabis. This  preserves the trichome structure on the bud and provides us greater quality control.

  • Slow Cured: We take our time curing our cannabis to ensure optimal terpene development and proper decarboxilazation of THCA to THC.   When stored properly, Cannabis, similar to fine wine, tobacco, and liquor, gets better with age.

Our Farm:

Nestled in a valley south of Deer Park in Eastern Washington, Washington's Finest Cannabis is owned and operated by pot power couple Crystal and Kevin Oliver, legalization advocates turned entrepreneurs.

This upcoming growing season Washington's Finest Cannabis plans to expand their canopy,  offer 'medical' grade cannabis as well as 1-2 more strains, plant a couple hundred trees on the property as well as plant a diverse combination of cover crops over several acres of the farm including buckwheat , alfalfa , and a few other types of lugumes and grasses.  There is some research that indicates that if cover crops and other soil building activities were used on a large scale it could help to reverse the effects of global warming by sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and returning it to the soil where it belongs.
