Recipe for Cannabis Infused Cooking Oil
1 cup of ground cannabis flower (or less for milder potency)
1 cup of cooking oil (We personally prefer olive, coconut, or butter)
Combine oil and cannabis in your slow cooker, and heat the two together on low or warm for a few hours. (We recommend on low 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally, temperature should not exceed 245 F to avoid scorching the cannabis)
Oil will be green in color and very fragrant. Once you've completed cooking it strain and store the oil.
Do not squeeze the cheesecloth; this will simply add more chlorophyll to your oil. All remaining plant material can be discarded. The oil’s shelf life is about two months, and can be extended with refrigeration.
Keep in mind that the infused oil will be fairly potent and should be used sparingly in dishes.
